Pre-1st day

I am embarking on a new journey.  I am 52 years old and tired of who I am. Always feeling like my life is out of control  I am finally going to take control of the woman I want to be.  I am hoping that my starting this blog I will be accountable and achieve my goals.  Which are.
1. Break my addictions to food and shopping.
2. Think and feel and speak as the woman I believe I was created to become.

I plan to achieve these goals by
     1.  Control spending - buying needs/not wants
     2.  Regaining control of my body.
          1.  no sugar or white grains(allowed once a day english muffiin with coconut oil and nuttella)
          2. cardio 5-6 times a week (biking, walking, running)
          3.  Strength training 2-3 time a week. (dvd, free weights, machines)
I will log my daily activities and track my eating for 12 weeks.
I don't plan on following a specific plan.  They are out there but I want to prove that you can do it if you just do it.

So.... here goes.  Tomorrow will be the 1st day.  Off we go...follow the yellow brick road and see where it goes.
